Lets work together to save lives.The KEEP app teaches children how to dial emergency services in the event of an accident and how to calmly and confidently answer the questions asked by the responder in order to get the required assistance as quickly as possible.My child gets taught that at school!... Yes, your child is also taught to read, write, play sports and swim, but we as parents know that a few hours here and there isnt enough to really set them up with the skills they need. We read to them, and get them to read to us. We pay for weekend swimming lessons and we go to watch them for weekend sports. All to ensure that they can get themselves out of trouble and be better, the more they practice.That will never happen to me, I am always with my child... Accidents are just that, moments in time where something happens that we were not expecting. These are the moments that we want to ensure our children are best equipped to handle.Picture the following:*One parent is at the shops and the other falls and is hurt.*A single parent at home does not wake up one morning for school.*Staying at grandparents house and someone has a medical emergency.*Walking home from school and witnesses an accident unfolding.In any of these situations, CAN YOUR CHILD MAKE THAT CALL?So what can this app do to try to prevent these things from happening? Nothing. This app cant stop the fall, it cant prevent a fire or other accidents from happening. But this app will teach your child what to do in case of one of these emergencies.Through specific scenarios, this app will take your child through all the decision-making skills they will need to call emergency services and give all the relevant information in a timely manner so that IF they have to make that call, they WILL have an impact and may save the life of the person they are calling about.Calling emergency services can be a really scary thing to do. Call takers ask a lot of questions and your child needs to know how to answer those questions. Through repetitive scenarios the KEEP app gives your children the best chance of saving those critical moments and potentially saving a life.Repetition creates recall and if we dont use a skill we lose a skill. The KEEP app has been designed to offer children the opportunity to practice a variety of scenarios across all emergency services - police, fire and ambulance. These scenarios will reset every year so that your child can continue their education and never lose the skill set they attain.Lets make learning fun - the KEEP app is reward-based with children able to earn virtual stickers at the successful completion of each scenario with a certificate of completion available once all scenarios are finished.The KEEP app team have designed this app to ensure that we, as parents, carers and loved ones never have to say I wish Id taught my child how to call emergency services or if only my child had known what to do.DISCLAIMERThe KEEP app is available for educational purposes only.
